About the Founder
Hi, I’m Kylene, the mind behind Threads in View. My journey has taken me from nonprofit initiatives to senior executive leadership roles in education, all while staying rooted in a passion for storytelling and connection. With a background in fostering growth—whether through mentoring leaders, crafting strategic initiatives, or amplifying community voices—I’ve seen firsthand how stories shape who we are and where we’re going.
For over a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of leadership, community building, and creativity. I’ve led strategic initiatives that transform organizations, published academic research on identity and social justice, and collaborated with individuals and teams to drive purpose-driven change. At Threads in View, I bring together my experiences in education, leadership, and creative storytelling to explore what connects us all and to help others find inspiration in the stories that surround them.
This work, like my own journey, is anchored in the belief that every story is seen and known—written before it even began.
